Now I discovered something that could change your way of thinking about learning stuff: FutureLearn.com. Different universities offer different (free) online courses for everyone.

CSI addict?

You are a creative or would love to be? So, this collections for creatives is for you.

There are too many courses to list here. There are courses about lyrics, creative writing, screenwriting, film business, professional photography, writing music, audio engineering, journalism, even about creative coding and sustainable fashion.

Video addict?

This subcategory is for the filmmaker among creatives.

History addict?

Do you love historic novels? Do you even write ones? Then this collection of courses about history of England is for you.

Health and lifestyle addict?

Once a famous artist asked „Who wants to live forever?” If you are the one who shouted "I" then go off and look at the health and lifestyle collection.

Conclusion

Most courses are in English or have English subtitles. The English is good understandable even for non-native speakers. All media (video / audio) have transcriptions, at least the ones I looked at. You can even purchase an certificate albeit I doubt they will be of any value for german residents.
